Genetically modified bacteria which target other bacteria would be modified to target the Mycobacterium tuberculosis only. The ligands on the bacteria are modified to complement the receptors solely found on the cell wall of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which in terms would not hard the human cells.
Better knowledge of tuberculosis should be passed on to the public so that they can avoid being at risk of the sickness. Better ventilation is needed in high risk places and people who are suspected to have been contaminated should wear a mask and get treatment as soon as possible.
